A Rusted Chain giveaway

Life is sweet necklace

I get quite a lot of email from companies wanting things from me (quite often free publicity!), and I ignore or decline the vast majority of them. But occasionally a pitch is so perfectly well-aligned with my blog that it leaps out at me and I actually want to get involved. Such was the case when I received an email from Beki at jewellery company The Rusted Chain. Beki's sterling silver creations are so utterly charming that I jumped at the chance to pair up with her and offer a baking-related giveaway.

The item up for grabs is the Life Is Sweet necklace, pictured above. The sterling silver pendant hangs from an 18" stainless steel chain, along with a bead, a Swarovski crystal and a freshwater pearl. This necklace would be perfect for a girly cake lover! (And in case you needed any more persuasion that this would be a good thing to wear, Martha Stewart herself owns one of Beki's necklaces.)

Worldwide entries are welcome. To enter, either leave a comment below OR send me a tweet confessing your all-time favourite sweet treat. Please make sure I have a way to get in touch with you (Twitter, blog link or email) as I will need to contact the winner for their mailing address. The winner will be drawn on Monday 31 January at 5pm GMT (that's British time!).

You can see more pieces at The Rusted Chain or read more on Beki's blog.

Mine would have to be shortbread. I only ever make it at Christmas - which is probably why I like it so much, I only get it once a year.

Fantastic! How fun. My favourite treat right now are these fair trade chocolate bars from Coco Camino. They have one with almond butter filling, which is enough like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup to make me totally obsessed with them.

=) I just recently stumbled upon your blog and I love it!

My favorite all time treat is a Croatian dessert called Sape. They're flakey cookies with walnuts, rolled in sugar! So great, and we only have them once a year for Christmas, so they definitely are a treat!

What a lovely giveaway. So pretty.

My favourite sweet treat is what my Mother used to make for my birthday, instead of a cake: angel pie. A wondrous concoction of meriengue, whipped cream & lemon pudding. Hits the spot.

My favorite sweet treat is Triple Chocolate Cookie. It has a chocolate and espresso cookie base and is studded with bittersweet chocolate and white chocolate chips. It's moist, chewy and chocolate-y. Walnuts add crunch but can be omitted. Naturally, it's full of calories that's why I make it only once a year and eat only what's left after I've given all my friends and family their share.
